The next Sanctus Paths To Leadership Semester will be from January - May 2011. Applications will be received starting in September 2010. Stay tuned for application forms coming soon to this page!
Sanctus Paths To Leadership is a school designed to develop emerging leaders; both bi-vocational marketplace ministers who desire to lead and pastor a community of believers while remaining in their current career, and those who share the same desire but sense a tug toward full-time vocational ministry.
Our missions is to inspire, train and motivate aspiring church planters to specifically target the emerging generation. Based upon the ministry philosophy and values of First Assembly, Sanctus will prepare participants by focusing on character and leadership development, and by allowing you to gain experience and exposure in real ministry situations.
When asked to comment on their experience in the program, recent Sanctus students have said...
"I have been passionate about church planting for a long time….what can the church look like, what should the church look like. Instead I have started asking what does 'the called out ones' look like….so the church then becomes about people, and not just about building an organization... you’re building people!"- Jamie
"So many of the churches only focus on two of the seven things that we learned in class….I see that and I think why is the church not seeing that? And I think how can I be that person of influence….I want to be that person of influence!" - Ryan
"I have been blessed just with the whole process. I take away from different speakers that came... just the way they see the kingdom, the way they see the gospel of Jesus Christ." - Eddie
"I’ve had a lot of teaching in my life, and a lot of it has fallen into the category of very intellectual… but this has been very applicable so that when game day comes you will have this. There are a lot of feelings that I have had about church and ministry that were sort of half formed and this has helped me finish those thoughts.” - Stephen
"Being able to better define what makes me tick and why I tick, being able to understand those things was very cool ….I’m a little surprised at where I’m at at the end of this process!" - Shannon
"I'm leaving with better questions than when I came!" - Jamie
"The semester was very purifying theologically. Very refreshing to not have all the clutter of politics and the hoops. It’s just simple faith based in who Jesus is." - Jaimee
