WELCOME TO FIRST ASSEMBLY!

Seriously.  Is it actually possible for you to achieve the dreams of your heart? Is that just sentimental fluff? Or can that kind of stuff really happen? Is it fairytale, Disney movie material? ...or is it something that we can actually experience?

We invite you to be a part of a community of faith that not only believes that the dreams in your heart are possible; we actually focus all of our attention and resources to see those dreams become reality.

Spiritually, relationally, emotionally, physically and financially; we want to see you and your family "fully alive".

Are we a perfect church with perfect people? Perfect Pastors? Perfect leaders? Not at all! But we are a community that have their eyes on our Perfect Example. We are passionately pursuing to be like Him in character and in power.

So, what are we like? We love great music! Music is the language of the soul and we love speaking that language. Do you like having your spirit lifted? Do you enjoy connecting with God through worship? We encourage you to come and be lifted through First Assembly worship. 

...and we love great food! We eat together whenever we can. Lunch, breakfast, dessert or coffee. You won't be around us very long before some-one invites you to a lunch. It might be after a service in our gym or it may be a one-on-one coffee. We love to share a meal and get to know you.

We enjoy sharing great ideas! The thoughts of God written in scripture have some of the best ideas you will ever find. Faith, hope, love, courage, family, peace, healing. those are a few of God's ideas we love to talk about. In fact those ideas are the very things that set us free to accomplish our dreams.

We love family. Wow, families are such an incredible gift from God. at least they should be! Kids, teenagers, young adults all have unique needs and challenges (parents of Jr. Highs - you know what I'm talkin' about). We want to help. Our leaders and teachers love to invest in the emerging generation.

Well that's enough from me. I don't want you to get the idea that I'm long winded! On behalf of my wife Heather and our three rowdy kids, may I extend an invitation for you to gather with us here at First Assembly.
